     Depending upon your perspective--sober or otherwise--there are classic to current films to relish or pass on.  Since there are so many SF movies, this separate page has to help out with conserving click energy and eyesight.  Other sites just happen to be official versions that sell their products and may offer some interesting multi-media to listen or look at.  SF Movies, like their television counterparts run in cycles of popularity or more likely--big studio affordability.

Alien Invasion:   They arrive and they are violent.  Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose.
Alternative History:  Catch-all category for other directions of human history
Apocalypse:  Game over.  Total annhilation of human civilization
Comedy:  Laugh at subjects from aliens to robots to time travel
Disaster:  Damage done to human civilization
Post-Apocalypse:  Collapse of human civilization and how survivors are doing
War:  Bloody conflict of human vs. human or human vs. something completely different. 
Western:  Takes shape on Earth, or off-Earth, which is may be meant as a fitting tribute to this Old West genre.
